Lossiemouth: Flying Notice; Merlin helicopters will be operating out of RAF Lossiemouth from the 2nd to 13th Feb

Merlin helicopters from 845 NAS (Royal Navy) will be operating out of RAF Lossiemouth from 2nd February - 13th February.

They will be operating between RAF Lossiemouth and Tain Range at various altitudes. 

Horse riders are advised to wear hi-viz when hacking to ensure pilots can see you and change their flight path where appropriate.

Fife: S1 placement request applications now open for children due to start in August 2026

If your child is currently in P7 and you don't want them to attend their catchment secondary school, you'll need to make a placing request.

The placing request process for children due to start S1 in August 2026 is now live.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors of the R&A World Golf Museum, as part of a wider front of house museum team working across the admissions, galleries, and retail areas, ensuring that a welcoming, helpful, informative, high quality, and memorable customer experience is provided at all times in live with departmental expectations.

To demonstrate a knowledge of shop products to customers so as to assist in maximising shop sales and increase the museum’s revenue.
